About the Event:
Malnutrition, malaria, and preventable diseases disproportionately affect Uganda’s vulnerable communities. This 5-day medical camp offers free healthcare to 3,000+ women and children in partnership with local doctors, nurses, and NGOs like UNICEF.
Services Provided:

Pediatric vaccinations and deworming.

Nutritional assessments and supplements for malnourished children.

Prenatal and postnatal care for mothers.

HIV/AIDS education and testing.

Mental health counseling for trauma survivors.
Activities:

Mobile Clinics: Reach remote villages in Nakaseke District.

Cooking Demos: Teach affordable, nutrient-rich recipes.

Community Health Workers (CHW) Training: Equip locals with first-aid and hygiene education skills.
